 Katherine Barrero Matyovits,
Fashion designer with an intense path in the fashion world was born in
La Paz Bolivia in 1977.
Between the years 1991 – 1995, Katherine worked as a footbridge model,
photography model and television-advertising model in Bolivia, USA and Mexico.
In addition, she represented Bolivia in various national and international
beauty contests and events.
In 1994, she was represented Bolivia in an international beauty contest of the
Spanish speaking Countries called "En Busca De La Chica Cosmos Internacional" by
Cosmopolitan magazine, which took place in Ixtapa Zihuatanejo – Mexico.
In this beauty contest, she won the third place and modeled for the Cosmopolitan
Magazine.
In the same year, she was elected to represent Bolivia in an international
spring festival for "Lions Club" in Trujillo – Peru.
In 2002, she received her University Degree in Fashion Design after 5 years of
studying in Santiago de Chile.
In 2003, she traveled in Europe and the Middle East while designing her first
Collection of Alpaca clothes.
